The BMW NATO Sales Programme is open to all active-duty NATO personnel and civilian ID Card holders, such as service contractors on temporary or permanent orders, stationed abroad at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the NATO sales programme you must be able to meet the following criteria:

• What happens after I have placed my order?
Once you have placed the order your new BMW will then be built and shipped to the UK for collection. This process takes approximately 3-4 months for most models. During this time you will be kept informed of your order's progress, and notified of the expected delivery date.
• What happens if I am serving in America?
Personnel serving in North America can have their vehicle shipped directly from the factory. For further information please contact BMW International Sales on +44 (0) 20 7318 9406.
• Can I part exchange my current car?
Yes. BMW International Sales offers a very competitive part exchange programme. Prices can only be given 4-6 weeks prior to collection of your new BMW or MINI.
• How do I pay?
On placing your order we will require a 10% deposit. This can be paid in Euros or Sterling. The 90% balance owing will need to be settled prior to collection and can also be accepted in Euros or Sterling. Payment can be accepted by Electronic Transfer, Bankers Draft or Debit Card.
• When is the price fixed?
The cost of your new BMW is 'fixed' when the car is allocated a chassis number. If the price goes up after this you are protected from the increase. If the price goes down you will still be offered the car at the new lower price.
Please note that this does not apply to currency exchange rates.
• How often can I change cars?
This depends on your local entitlement. However, BMW AG (Germany) International Direct Sales will only offer you one NATO programme car per entitled person per 12-month period. For those customers who wish to change at the 12-month point we recommend you contact BMW Park Lane as soon as possible to ensure we have time to build your next BMW to coincide with your entitlement.
• Does this scheme apply to motorcycles? If you live, or your Company is based within the EU/EEA (European Economic Area) including within the UK, then we can offer you the unique opportunity to purchase a brand new BMW VAT free. One of the best things about buying your new BMW Motorcycle from us is that we can help with every step of the process, from ordering the right specification for you, to advising on relevant documentation. • Where do I collect?
With the exception of those personnel based in North America, collection and delivery of your new BMW will be from the BMW Broad Oak Ashford Handover Centre:

This is necessary to facilitate the UK first registration. Factory collection can also be arranged if preferred, however, certain conditions apply.
• Do you have any cars in stock?
For those customers who need a quick delivery we have the facility to look for unsold cars already in the UK. Whilst we may not be able find your exact first choice, we can usually offer many close alternatives. Please call BMW International Sales on +44 (0) 20 7318 9406 to discuss.
Your order When you place your order we will require proof of your NATO status and details of your delivery destination. National specifications relating to design and engineering vary and we therefore require details of the temporary country of residence and final destination. We recommend that you take a look at the latest range of BMW models with the car configurator tool, however, please be aware that it should only be used as a guide for the options available to you and will depend on your home country vehicle specification. Once we have advised you on how your BMW should be configured, a production order will be placed. Our BMW International Diplomatic Sales team will monitor the production of your car and ensure that it is fully compliant with its final destination. This is to ensure that you will not encounter any difficulties in registering the car in the future.
From your initial enquiry you can expect to have your new BMW delivered in approximately two weeks for vehicles from our current stock and 3-4 months for vehicles built to you required specification. Our delivery centre in Ashford means that collecting your new BMW or MINI couldn't be easier. Situated only minutes from the Channel Tunnel your car will be registered in the UK and ready to export to your chosen country.
